Finn Dawson
Finn is a passionate advocate for education, technology, and the transformative power of AI in learning environments. While serving time at Cheshire Correctional Institution in Connecticut, Finn earned his Associate’s Degree through the Wesleyan Center for Prison Education (CPE) program, an experience that deepened his commitment to making education accessible to all, including those in correctional facilities. Driven by the belief that AI can unlock new avenues for learning and personal growth, Finn envisions a future where technology empowers students and educators alike, fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. His personal journey has also reinforced his dedication to mental health and recovery treatment, recognizing these as essential components of holistic learning and personal development. Through Cell Unlocked, Finn aims to bridge the gap between AI advancements and incarcerated learners, helping to build tools that inspire growth, recovery, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
